Daniel Zastrow - dan

Dan majored in Electrical Engineering and minored in Spanish at the US Naval Academy, graduating with Honors in the top 10% of the class.  

After the Naval Academy, Dan pursued a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Digital Signal Processing and wireless communication.  

Dan served nearly 8 years in the Navy, holding roles as a nuclear power student, a nuclear Submarine Warfare Officer, and a Headquarters staff officer.  While serving alongside Nick on the USS Albuquerque (SSN-706), Dan held leadership roles in nuclear engineering, operations, and quality.

Since the Navy, Dan has spent five years at Becton Dickinson, a leading medical technology company before enrolling in the Wharton MBA program.  He held progressing roles of experience and responsibility from strategic sourcing, R&D, operations and manufacturing manager, customer trials management, and global product management for software and hardware medical technology.  He has gained broad first hand experience and delivered impactful results across these varied departments.
